Greywacke works almost entirely on renovations — old bones, awkward layouts, rooms that were clearly an afterthought in 1974. We like that problem.

Three things we won't do, and why.
No moodboard before a site visit
We measure the actual light before we pick a palette for it.
No full-gut renovations by default
Most houses have one or two rooms worth fixing properly, not six worth doing cheaply.
No sourcing we haven't seen in person
If we spec it, someone from the studio has stood in front of it.
Bring us the room that annoys you most.
We take on a small number of projects at a time — usually four running at once, no more.
